As a Company we continue to see value supporting young people in finding and developing careers in the UK manufacturing industry. We have enjoyed success in recent years recruiting and retaining apprentices at Avalon Plastics, working in our Toolroom, Maintenance, Finance, and Supply chain teams.

It is our intention to continue with this strategic investment in young people and developing talent for the future. To that end, we have the following Apprenticeship vacancies:


Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprentice


Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprentice learning and working in a busy dynamic open plan office environment supporting the Finance Team.

Day to day activities will develop in time and experience to ultimately include:

  • Record keeping and filing

  • Reception/telephone support

  • Microsoft Word experience

  • Microsoft Excel experience

  • Data input into SAGE business system

  • Credit Control and Sales Ledger

  • Ad hoc reports – Daily, Weekly & Monthly

  • Assist Purchase Ledger

  • Assist Costings


Business Administrator Apprentice


Business Administration Apprentice, learning and working in a busy dynamic open plan office environment supporting Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Customer service teams.


Day to day activities will develop with time and experience to ultimately include:


  • Record Keeping & Filling

  • Reception / Telephone Support

  • Microsoft Word Experience

  • Microsoft Excel Experience

  • Admin support for Quality Manager

  • Printing & Copying Works Orders / Labels

  • Data Input to SAGE Business System

  • Sales Order Processing

  • Expediting Purchase Orders

  • Raising Purchase Orders

  • Configuration Control of Documents & Quote Log

  • Production Planning Works Orders

  • Customer Service Support
